"When I
think about courage, I think of my parents. They led by their example and taught me how to be a go-getter. It shows up in
my own life in just being in the NFL. It's going out there every Sunday and not backing down from anybody. That's been my
best attribute as a football player because I've never been scared."

"If you
ask me who has taught me the most about being courageous, I would say just about everyone I’ve been around. I try to
learn from everyone I come in contact with and they all teach me something about being courageous. For me
personally, the one thing that has taken real courage is to be a great family man and a great father for my kids. My
dad was never around so I didn’t have the blueprint on how to be a dad. So for me it, the thing that takes real
courage is being a father and a husband. It’s been the most challenging, yet also the most rewarding part of my life"
