CharacterPlus & the Center for Character & Citizenship @ UMSL are hosting a new series that will highlight women who Walk with Purpose & Lead with Character.
We are grateful for all you do to represent empowered and purposeful women leaders. Your leadership sets an example for others and is making a difference! Because of this, we wanted to invite you to join us for a special Educational Women in Leadership Series called "At the Table." CharacterPlus and the Center for Character and Citizenship at UMSL are hosting this new series that will highlight women who Walk with Purpose and Lead with Character. We would like to include you in the invitation to join us At the Table as we connect and collaborate over purposeful conversations, dinner, and drinks.
This Leadership Series will consist of four separate dinner events throughout the year, which will be held at different dining venues throughout the region. Each evening will be centered around the message from an influential women leader who will share her story of the power of leading with and on purpose. Our dinner table conversations will connect to the messages shared by our guest speaker.
As an At the Table participant, you will grow your PLN and extend your own thinking around the power of being a woman who leads with purpose to impact those you serve. We are excited to create the space for women leaders like you to continue to stretch your thinking, grow in leadership, and be intentional about leading with purpose at the front and center.
We hope you are interested in joining us At the Table. With limited seating capacity and in order to keep this intimate and powerful, we are only inviting a select group of 50 women leaders in education. Thanks to the generosity of a Templeton Foundation Grant that is funding a portion of this event, the participant cost is $150 for the series. This fee covers appetizers, seated and plated dinner, and dessert at all four events. There will be a cash bar available at each venue, and all dinners will be from 6:00-8:00PM.
Our dinner kicks off on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Cyrano's in Webster Grove. The pre-dinner connections and conversations begin at 6:00PM with appetizers and cash bar available. We will begin our conversations as we listen to incredible women tell their story of how PURPOSE impacted their leadership and life. Conversations will grow from there as we share a meal together.
